Terms of Service

The service

WeedOut connects to your YouTube channel via Google OAuth and, based on the rules you set, automatically approves, deletes, or holds comments for your review. You control what those rules are and can review or reverse held decisions from your dashboard.

Your responsibilities

• You must be the owner or an authorized manager of the YouTube channel you connect.
• You're responsible for the moderation rules you configure. WeedOut acts on your channel based on those rules — we don't independently decide what content is acceptable for your channel.
• You won't use the service to violate YouTube's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Billing

The Free plan costs nothing and needs no payment method. It covers up to 1,000 moderated comments per 30-day period. Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment provider. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard's billing portal, effective at the end of the current billing period.

No guarantee of perfect moderation

Moderation judgments are generated by an AI model and, like any automated system, can make mistakes. Comments held for review are never auto-deleted — you have final say on those. For everything else, we recommend periodically spot-checking your moderation log.

YouTube API Services

WeedOut uses YouTube API Services. Use of the service is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data obtained through the YouTube API.

Termination

You can disconnect your channel and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
